Naruto One Day Tour: 7hours: Up to 3 people: Guide Fee 42,000JPY
I will take you by car to the highlights of Naruto City, including the whirlpools, the oldest soy sauce brewery in Tokushima Prefecture and a pottery studio producing Otani ware, all in a single day. For lunch, we will visit Tokushima Ramen Shop-Sampa.During the trip, I will drive along scenic coastal roads.My car is a mini car and it seats 4 people (3 besides me).
9:00 AM: Meeting Point: JR Naruto Station OR Naruto City Tourist Information Centre
The meeting point is at the entrance of JR Naruto Station OR Naruto City Tourist Information Centre. JR Naruto Station is a small station, so you will not get lost. And Naruto City Tourist Information Centre is located just off the cable car from Kosoku Naruto Express Bus Station.
9:30AM: UZUSHIO KISEN High-Speed Whirlpool sightseeing boat
Ride a Whirlpool sightseeing boat. The boat ride lasts for about 20 minutes. We will purchase tickets on-site before boarding.The time to see the whirlpools depends on the time of year, so I will change the schedule so that we can board the boat at the best time.
9:30AM: Uzuno Michi Walkway
If the sightseeing boat does not depart due to bad weather, we will go to Uzuno Michi Walkway as an alternative. Naruto Strait and the whirlpools can be viewed from the promenade under the Onaruto Bridge.Whirlpools can be seen from the walkway under the Onaruto Bridge at a 45-meter high viewpoint.
11:00AM: Lunch at Tokushima Ramen Shop-Sampa
Enjoy Tokushima ramen, loved by the local people.This is a long-established Tokushima ramen shop with a 50-year history.Payment is cash only.
1:00PM: Fukuju Soy Sauce
Visit Fukuju Soy Sauce, soy sauce tasting and shopping
2:00PM: Mori Toki Pottery
Visit Mori Toki Pottery
1:00PM: Ryozen-ji and Gokuraku-ji Temples and Ooasahiko-jinnja Shrine.
If we are unable to make reservations at the soy sauce brewery and the pottery studio, we will visit Temple Number One and Two of The Shikoku Pilgrimage, Ryozen-ji and Gokuraku-ji, and the Number One Shrine in Awa (Tokushima's pre-modern domain), Ooasahiko-jinnja shrine.
4:00PM: End of the tour
