Price
・ My standard guide fee is 6,000 Japanese yen per hour.
・ This includes 10% consumption tax, and for up to three people, I will use my car, so this also includes transportation to and from the location of your choice within Naruto City and between tourist attractions within Naruto City.
・ Other expenses such as entrance fees to facilities for you and me, meals, parking fees for my car, highway charges, etc. are not included.
・ Let me know where you would like to go in Naruto and I will give you an estimate.
Attention
・ Guide’s standard working hours are 8 hours / day between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, but starting / ending time is flexible. Please check my calendar and advise of the day you like.
・ If your tour plan exceeds standard working hours, I add an overtime fee at a rate of 6,000 Japanese yen / hour. But this overtime fee is applicable only in case both parties agree on it at the time of the booking. If the actual guiding time exceeded the plan due to traffic jams or congestion, I would not charge the overtime fee.
・ For meeting location and ending location, please select a location within Naruto (e.g., Kosuku Naruto bus stop). If you wish to pick up and drop off at other locations (e.g. Tokushima Airport), the guide time will be extended and an additional fee will be charged accordingly.
・ I will reserve a table at a restaurant according to your request, but please note that reservations may not be possible during major Japanese vacations (Golden Week, Obon vacation, year-end and New Year holidays, etc.). In such cases, you will have to wait in line. Also, boats for viewing the whirlpools cannot be reserved and may be cancelled that day due to weather conditions, which case I will take you to another sightseeing spot (such as the Uzuno Michi Walkway). Since such changes may occur on the day of the tour, please pay the entrance fees to tourist facilities, etc. in cash or by credit card on the day of the tour.
Payment Terms
・ Once agreed on service contents and conditions, I will issue an online invoice for a 50% deposit and send it to you by email. Only pay 50% of the tour guide price to confirm a booking as a deposit at a time of booking.The remaining 50% of the fee must be paid at least 3 days prior to the scheduled tour date. If the remaining amount is not paid at least 3 days prior to the scheduled tour date, the tour will be cancelled and the deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee.
・ For international cross-border payments, I primarily use PayPal or Stripe as a payment method. Using their functionality, I issue the invoice online and send you a link to the invoice. Please access the link to make your payment.
Cancellation Policy
・ In case of cancellation, please let me know via contact form. I will acknowledge your cancellation by email.
・ Cancellation fees are as follows：
ーFree cancellation - 8 days prior to meeting time
ー50% Refund - 3 to 7 days prior to meeting time： (The amount received as a deposit will be used as the cancellation fee)
ーNo Refund - Within 2 day(s) prior to meeting time or No-show： (All amounts received at least 3 or more days prior to the tour date will be used as the cancellation fee)
・ If I cancel your booking after you receive my booking confirmation, for any reason, I will refund all amounts I received (I owe all money transfer expenses) to you in full.
